Run locally

Serve an app over stdio from a crawled spec, for development and for clients that start local servers.

Start the server

Crawl a site first (see the quickstart), then point the server at its spec:

node src/mcp-server.mjs out/acme/spec.json

The local server speaks MCP over standard input and output and exposes the same 13 knowledge and pricing tools as a hosted app. The guided quote and widgets are available on hosted apps only.

Claude Desktop

Add the server to claude_desktop_config.json with absolute paths, then restart Claude Desktop.

Conversation log

Every tool call is appended to events.jsonl next to the spec. Set ORIGAMI_CHANNEL to tag where calls came from.
