Get started
Quickstart
Crawl a company's website into a spec, then give its sales agent to Claude Code. Two commands, about a minute.
Before you start
- Node.js 20 or newer.
- A copy of the Origami repository, with dependencies installed.
- Claude Code, to try the agent.
1. Crawl the website
Origami reads the site from its sitemap, or by following links, up to 80 public pages. It writes everything it finds to a company spec.
npm run crawl -- https://yourcompany.com out/yourcompany/spec.jsonThe command prints what it found: pages read, cited sections, plans and how many pages of each type.
2. Connect it to Claude Code
claude mcp add yourcompany -- node "$PWD/src/mcp-server.mjs" "$PWD/out/yourcompany/spec.json"Start a new Claude Code session and the tools appear under the yourcompany server.
3. Ask what a buyer would
- “Which plan suits a 15-person team, and what does it cost annually?”
- “Is it SOC 2 compliant?”
- “How does it compare to the market leader?”
Claude calls the matching tool and answers from the company's site, with the source. If the site doesn't cover something, it says so.
Next steps
To put the app in front of buyers in ChatGPT and Claude, it needs to be hosted. See MCP apps, or talk to us and we'll set it up with you.
