Guided quote
get_a_quote walks a buyer from their first pricing question to an exact quote, asking only what the company's pricing needs.
What it asks
- Team size, when the company prices per user or seat.
- Must-haves, when plans differ by feature. Options are the features that actually separate the plans. Otherwise the buyer picks a plan.
- Billing, when annual billing is cheaper than monthly.
It then prices the plan from the published pricing and returns a quote card with a trial button and an “Email me this quote” button.
Calling it
An assistant passes whatever the buyer has already said. Here the buyer said they're three people and want Sync, so only billing is asked:
→ tools/call get_a_quote {"team_size": 3, "plan": "Sync"}
← Ask the buyer: Would you pay monthly or annually?
Options: Monthly; Annually (save 20%).
→ tools/call get_a_quote {"billing": "annual"}
← {"recommendation": "Sync",
"price": {"perSeat": 4, "monthlyTotal": 12, "yearlyTotal": 144, "billing": "annual"}, ...}An invalid answer comes back as the same question with a reason, for example “Enter the number of people, like 12.”
