Overview
Publishing
Origami submits your app to the ChatGPT and Claude directories for you, under your brand, with Origami as the publisher. You approve the listing; we do the rest.
How it works
- Authorise. When you first sign in, an owner of your workspace accepts the publishing authorisation: permission for Origami to build, host and submit the app on your behalf and to use your name and logo in its listings. You can revoke it at any time.
- Review your listing. The Publish tab shows your listing as the directories will: your name, “By Origami”, a one-sentence description, two example prompts and the category. Edit the copy if you like.
- Approve it. An owner approves the listing. If the copy changes later (because you edit it, or your website changes), you're asked to approve again before we resubmit.
- We submit. Origami runs its pre-submission checks, prepares everything each directory asks for (screenshots, test prompts, a walkthrough video, privacy policy and support pages) and submits the app.
- We follow up. The Publish tab shows where each directory's review stands. If a reviewer asks for changes, we make them and resubmit, and only contact you if we need something from you.
How long it takes
Directory reviews are done by each platform and take anywhere from days to weeks; we can't speed them up or guarantee approval. Your Publish tab shows where each review stands, and your app's website links to each listing once it's live.
Your app's pages
Each app has its own website, docs, support page, privacy policy and terms of use, hosted by Origami and linked from its listings. Listings need these to name the publisher, so they live on Origami's domain. The privacy policy describes exactly what your app collects and who receives it.
What each directory gets
Each directory has its own rules, so your app comes in two versions. ChatGPT's doesn't show subscription plans or start subscriptions, so it answers questions and connects buyers with your team. Claude's includes plans and quotes where your pricing is published. Nothing in either version moves money. The tool reference marks which tools each one has.
